Overview

Gallstones are a common disease and can be painful, and cause nausea, and discomfort.

Exercise cannot prevent gallstones or help in removing gallstones from the body. However, they can relieve the pain and reduce gallstone-related symptoms.

Stress, an unhealthy diet, a lack of physical exercise, and obesity lead to indigestion and increase the risks of getting gallstones.

Final words

In mild cases of gallstones, you may not exhibit any symptoms. However, if you are experiencing intense pain, your doctor may suggest a gallstone surgery. Doctors will prohibit exercises immediately after a gallstone surgery. They may ask you to take brisk walks for a few minutes to improve blood circulation. Heavy exercises can stress the wound site and lead to complications. Exercises should be resumed after complete recovery. You must talk to your doctor about when to resume your daily exercise regime after a gallstone surgery.
